Media Reports Claiming I Criticized Gov Mutfwang’s Stance On PDP Intraparty Conflict ‘Untrue’-Gov Adeleke

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has described as ‘untrue’, media reports claiming that he criticized Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State because of his stance on the PDP leadership crisis during the virtual meeting held by members of the PDP Governors’ Forum.

The governor noted that he was on his way to Akure in his capacity as the Chairman of the PDP Governorship Campaign Council for Ondo State while the meeting was being held adding that poor mobile signal reception had hindered his participation in the virtual meeting.

Adeleke in a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed on Thursday  clarified that  he never at any point in time attacked or accused the Plateau State  governor of infractions and weakness with respect to the protection of the rights of the North Central within the PDP.

The governor also noted that he is fully in support of the resolutions reached at the meeting.

‘As a loyal party man, I stand with the PDP Constitution as I have emphasized since the beginning of the crisis and I know this position was shared by my brother, the Plateau state governor and many others.

So, I urge the public to disregard the media reports. My brother, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, was not pressured by me to back the PDP Constitution.
