Mohbad: Fresh FM Bans Naira Marley’s Songs
Fresh FM 106.9 FM, a private station in Ado – Ekiti , Ekiti state, has banned Naira Marley’s songs until further notice.
Azeez Fashola, popularly called Naira Marley is a British-Nigerian singer and songwriter.
He has been accused of allegedly having a hand in the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji aka Mohbad’s death while he has however asserted that he had never wished harm on the late singer.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Fresh FM disclosed this decision in an Instagram post on Tuesday and the short statement was signed by its Head of production and Music Content, Oluwaseunfunmi Williams.
Fresh FM is the second radio station to ban Naira Marley’s songs , Splash FM 105.5 Ibadan, Oyo state, had done this on Monday.
‘Following the public outcry from the general public trialing the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (Mohbad), the alleged victimization from different videos going viral and the involvement of members of his previous record label (Marlian records), Fresh 106.9 fm has suspended the airplay of all songs and contents under the banner of Marlian Records’ the statement said-Team@orientactualmags.com
