Mohbad: Sam Larry Undergoes Custodial Interrogation In Lagos
Controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry, has turned himself in to the police and he is currently undergoing custodial interrogation.
He is being questioned with regard to the death of a popular singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
Recall that the nurse who reportedly injected the deceased singer before his demise on Tuesday, September 12, has also been arrested and taken into custody.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Spokesman for the Lagos state Police Command , Benjamin Hundeyin, a Superintendent of Police, confirmed this development on Thursday night .
‘Yes, Balogun Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting us with the ongoing investigation’ he said.
MohBad died on September 12, at the age of 27.
Fans of the late singer had called for probe having felt that he died in suspicious circumstances and controversy had since continued over his death with an accusing finger pointed at Naira Marley , Sam Larry and others.
Splash FM 105.5 Ibadan, Fresh FM 106.9 FM, Ado – Ekiti , and others had banned Naira Marley’s songs until further notice.
The Lagos state Police Command had also a few days ago, inaugurated a 13-member special investigative team that has been tasked with probing the death of Mohbad while the Department of State Services (DSS) has followed suit.
The police, had also last week, also confirmed that pathologists have concluded the autopsy conducted on Mohbad, while awaiting the results-Team@orientactualmags.com
