Mohbad: Why We Took Naira Marley, Sam Larry To Court-Police… Owodunni Ibrahim Declared Wanted

As the Lagos state Police Command continues its investigation into  the death of  a popular hip hop act, Mr. Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad,  a chap,  Owodunni Ibrahim ,who is popularly called  Primeboy, has been declared  wanted.

The police  cited  his failure to honour invitation sent to him since launching the investigation.

The  state Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohuwa, in a statement signed by spokesman for the state command, Benjamin Hundeyin, also placed a N1 million bounty on the singer’s head.

Primeboy and the late Mohbad are longstanding friends  and they passed their  childhood in  Ikorodu , Lagos state.

Primeboy was one of the faces in the viral video that had people gathered to mourn and  announce that Mohbad was dead.

He had  recently taken to social media to declare his innocence after being fingered in Mohbad’s death.

In the meanwhile the Lagos state Police Command, on Wednesday clarified  that charges  have not been preferred against Azeez Fashola popularly called Naira Marley, and a music promoter, Balogun Eletu otherwise known as Sam Larry,  as claimed  by some social media users.

It was clarified that they were taken to court in order to obtain a remand warrant to keep them in custody  beyond the 48 hours constitutional provision.

‘They were not arraigned for the case itself; they were taken to court for us to get a remand warrant to enable us to detain them beyond the constitutional 48 hours provision, so that we’re not accused of over-detention. To get the remand warrant, we needed to present the people in court.

And we indeed got the warrant, but I can’t ascertain the number of days granted yet; I’d make it available to you once I obtain it’ spokesman for the Lagos state Police command,  Benjamin Hundeyin submitted  on Wednesday-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
