Chairman of Moshood Bakare Foundation, Hon Moshood Bakare, a former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, has described education as one of the most important means of building and advancing nations.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Hon Moshood Bakare said this during his visit to MUSECO Secondary School, Igbaja on Tuesday as part of his ongoing efforts to promote youth development and education in the community.
Hon Moshood Bakare, who is passionate about empowering young people and providing them with access to quality education, was warmly received by the students and staff of the school.
He also met with some of the beneficiaries of the Foundation’s Free JAMB scheme, a programme aimed to support students in their pursuit of higher education.
The visit was also an opportunity for him to interact with the students and encourage them to take their education seriously. He emphasized the importance of hard work and dedication in achieving academic success, and urged them to strive to meet up with their peers around the world.
‘The UTME is a gateway to higher education, and it is essential that students take it seriously.
As a foundation, we are committed to supporting students in their pursuit of academic excellence, and we believe that every student deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background or financial situation’ he said.
Hon Moshood Bakare also emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of individuals and society as a whole while encouraging the students to be focused, determined, and committed to their studies, and to always strive for excellence in all that they do.
Hon Moshood Bakare got a warm welcome from the students and staff of the school, who appreciated the opportunity to meet with him and learn from his experiences.
