Moshood Bakare Joins 2027 Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Reps Race…Promises Quality Representation

A former member of Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Moshood Bakare on Wednesday promised to ensure quality representation if elected as representative of Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2027.

Announcing the decision to throw his hat in the ring on Wednesday, Bakare said this was sequel to his interactions with  the people of the federal constituency over the past few months, noting that their hopes, frustrations, and dreams for the constituency have been made known to him.

He expressed his commitment to building on the strength and resilience of the community.

‘I believe that the time has come for us to build on that strength. This is why I will be seeking to represent you in the Federal House of Representatives in 2027’ he said.

The former state lawmaker noted that his political aspiration is not about the title or position but rather about service.

He added that his experience in the Kwara State House of Assembly would enable him to shape policies that will reflect the shared values and aspirations of the people.

Bakare listed education, employment, and equitable development as key issues that would be his focus while calling on  the people of the constituency to join him and work towards getting his political aspiration achieved, saying ‘the movement belongs to all who believe in the constituency’s potential’.

‘Let’s walk this path together—steadfast in our purpose and united in our collective vision.
