Mosque Project: Saraki Donates N2m, Commends Obbo Ile Muslim Community For Propagating Islam

Former senate president, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki , has donated two million naira to the Muslim community in Obbo Ile , Ekiti Local Government, Kwara state.
He made the donation during the fundraising event held for the construction and upgrade of the Obbo- Ile Central Mosque .
Dr. Saraki, who was represented at the event by Alhaji Jimoh Balogun, conveyed his deep appreciation to Owalobo of Obbo-Ile and the entire Muslim community for their unwavering commitment to propagating Islam.
The event, which had the Chief Imam of Obbo Ile, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulaiman, as the Chief Host, also had in attendance prominent traditional rulers in Ekiti LGA, with HRH Olosi of Osi leading the monarchs to the occasion.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Mr Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, who is Saraki’s Press Officer on Local Matters , noted that the donation made by the former senate president, who is the Waziri of Ilorin, underscores his dedication to social and spiritual development of communities across Kwara state.
‘Members of the Saraki delegation also included the PDP Chairman in Ekiti Local Government, Hon. Agbelusi Felix, the PDP Chairmanship candidate for Ekiti LG and CEO of Amodu Petroleum, Osi, Alhaji Ishiaq Amodu Abolarin, as well as the PDP Councillorship candidate for Osi 1, Hon. Raji Taiye Olobe.
Their presence not only added significance to the fundraising event but also reinforced the continued commitment of Dr. Saraki and the PDP to the progress and well-being of communities throughout the state.
