Mother, 2 Daughters Die From Suspected Carbon Monoxide Poisoning In Lagos

The police are investigating the death of a woman and her two daughters at a shop located in PPL, Ijagun Okokomaiko, Lagos state.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the deceased persons died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
They were said to have locked themselves in the shop for two days before their corpses were recovered.
While some of their neighbours had suspected carbon monoxide poisoning , others have however attributed the sad development to food poisoning.
It was learned that the Islamic funeral prayer (Salatul Janazah) had since been held for the deceased persons.
‘On Friday night, the woman locked herself in the shop with her daughters while the generator was on. On Saturday, someone passed by and still saw the shop locked with the generator still on.
On Monday morning, people were worried as there was an offensive odour around her shop. Then, the husband broke into the shop and he found the dead bodies of his wife and children. These bodies were found in the inner shop and the other extension was where the generator was placed’ a resident of the area said.
Spokesman for the Lagos state Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, has also confirmed the incident .
‘It has been confirmed that the incident happened last week’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com
