MP Carol Monaghan Opposes Visa Policy Stopping Students From Bringing Family To UK

A member of Parliament in the United Kingdom, Carol Monaghan, has raised an objection to the new visa policy preventing Nigerian students, and others, who are studying in the UK, from bringing family as dependents except under specific circumstances.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned  Monaghan, who said this during a plenary session on Wednesday,  noted that students from other countries have made valuable contributions to the UK’s economy.

International students , she noted, have enriched the UK’s society in all sectors, including healthcare.

‘International students make an invaluable contribution to the economy’ she said.

 ‘The reality is that many students who come into the UK look beyond their studies and want their families to be part of their experience.

Withholding overseas students from bringing their families, many will opt to go elsewhere and any drop in the number of international students will cause further harm to universities that are already facing financial difficulties’ the lawmaker also noted in a viral video on Thursday- Team@orientactualmags.com
