My Husband Would’ve Lived Longer If He Hadn’t Prioritized ‘Spiritual Solution’ Over ‘Medical Treatment’-Former Ondo First Lady

Former governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, who had cancer, would have lived longer if he had not prioritized ‘spiritual solution’ over ‘medical treatment’, his wife, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu has submitted.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the former Ondo State First Lady made this disclosure in an interview with a journalist, Olumide Akinrinlola, on Thursday.
Recall that Mrs. Betty Akeredolu had lost her position as First Lady of Ondo State following the sudden death of her husband, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu on December 27, 2023.

Chief Rotimi Akeredolu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, served as governor of Ondo State between 2017 and 2023.
‘What came out of their mountain climbing, blessed handkerchiefs, water, olive oil, etc., from the GOs and all the noisy prayers like people possessed by demons? If Aketi had listened to me, I wouldn’t be a widow’ she said.
The former Ondo State First Lady, who is a breast cancer survivor, disclosed that her understanding of cancer biology and early detection had made her establish the Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria in 1997.
Cancer , she noted, should be seen as a medical issue and not a spiritual attack.
‘You cannot pray away breast cancer or any cancer at all’ she asserted.
‘A pastor is not a doctor; he understands nothing about cancer. He can only pray, and prayers don’t cure cancer. Consult a doctor—not just any doctor, but a doctor who specialises in cancer cases’ Betty added.
Assessing the Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa administration , she described it as ‘rudderless’ citing concerns about a certain key appointment.
The former First Lady, who talked about her senate bid, noted that she remains fully committed to pursuing her political ambition-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
