NACLFON President Commends Remi Tinubu For Bringing Honour To Nigeria At US National Prayer Breakfast
The National President of the National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON), Professor Olanrewaju Abraham has commended Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, for bringing honour and positive global recognition to the country at a time when Nigeria is being misrepresented by diverse opinions that are according to him far removed from reality.
Professor Abraham in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the National Publicity Secretary of NACLFON, Mr. Olalere Fagbola described the public commendation of the First Lady by the president of the United States, Mr Donald Trump as both symbolic and significant.
‘The public acclamation of the excellent spirit of the First Lady by no less a personality than President Donald Trump of the United States is a further brilliant testimony of the Biblical Esther spirit radiating in the First Lady. Her Christian womanliness is truly worthy of emulation’ Professor Abraham said.
He further stated that the honour accorded Senator Tinubu comes at a time when Nigerians should consciously strive to be worthy ambassadors of their country.
‘This honour has come not only to the Church in Nigeria, but to Christians as a whole. The gospel life of Pastor Remi Tinubu will continue to inspire good Nigerian women, especially those in the corridors of power, in their roles as leaders, wives, and mothers’ he added.
Recall that during the 74th Annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., on February 5, 2026, President Donald Trump had publicly recognized and praised Nigeria’s First Lady while giving his speech
:
‘We’re honoured to be joined today by the First Lady of Nigeria, who also happens to serve as a Christian pastor at one of the largest churches in Nigeria — a very respected woman. It’s a great honour to have you with us’ he had submitted.
The National Prayer Breakfast is a long-standing annual event held in Washington, D.C., usually on the first Thursday of February. It brings together political leaders, religious figures, international guests, and policymakers for prayer, reflection, and dialogue. Established in 1953, the event serves as a forum where people of diverse political and religious backgrounds unite in prayer and shared values.
Professor Abraham commended members of NACLFON for their consistency and forthrightness in sustaining the forum’s weekly prayers for the nation while noting that it is particularly gratifying that Mrs Tinubu’s meaningful participation at the National Prayer Breakfast would further inspire them not to relent in their intercessions for Nigeria, especially at a critical time in the nation’s history-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
