NASS Elections: Osun PDP Warns INEC Not To Upload Fake Results On Its Server
Osun state PDP has warned officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to upload fake National Assembly election results on its back-end servers.
Chairman of the state PDP Caretaker Committee, Dr Adekunle Akindele in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com accused the APC National Assembly candidates of hatching a sinister plot to upload doctored results on the back-end servers of INEC in connivance with some officials of the commission.
‘ We have been reliably informed by insiders that the defeated APC candidates are working on an evil plot to tamper with the declared results of last Saturday’s National Assembly elections.
The agenda is to upload false results in connivance with some unscrupulous INEC officials. Such fake results will differ from what has been announced.
We are using this medium to strongly warn against any attempt to tamper with the will of Osun People. We specifically call on INEC officials to beware of hired elements who may compromise its system at the instance of APC. Osun people massively voted for PDP reps and senate candidates. Any attempt to tamper with results already validly declared will be resisted by our people’ , the party Chairman warned.
Describing Osun as a PDP state, Dr Akindele repeated his earlier assertion that the unprecedented show of love for the PDP was a re-affirmation of the July 16, 2022 victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke, adding that ‘the Governor has proven that he is one with Osun residents and voters’.
‘ Those defeated candidates should forget the illusion of stealing the legislative mandates of our people. It is impossible. Our winning was attested to nationally and internationally. The winning spree will continue on March 11. Our people trust PDP and PDP through its Governor is responsive to the wishes and aspiration of Osun people’ the statement noted.
