NASS Leadership Positions: Gov AbdulRazaq Congratulates Akpabio, Abass, Others
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state , who is also the Chairman, of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), has congratulated Senator Godswill Akpabio and Representative Tajudeen Abass on their emergence as Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives respectively.
The governor also congratulated Senator Jibrin Barau and Benjamin Kalu on getting elected as Deputy Senate President and Deputy Speaker respectively.
Governor AbdulRazaq in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Rafiu Ajakaye has urged the 10th National Assembly to champion a vibrant legislative agenda that would complement the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other sub national governments.
‘The popular choices of the new Senate President and the Rt. Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives — as well as their deputies — underscore the confidence that their colleagues reposed in them and their ability to work in harmony with the other arms of government for the development of our country.
