National Qur’an Recitation Competition: Participants Praise Kebbi Gov’s Development Strides

Representatives of 34 states who are participating in the National Qur’an Recitation Competition in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State capital, have praised Governor Nasir Idris’ remarkable development strides.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that the participants representing their respective states in the 10-day Musabaqa competition were taken on a tour of major projects in the state capital ahead of the grand finale of the competition.


‘The tour showcased the transformative initiatives undertaken by Governor Idris, the Kauran Gwandu and Gwarzon Daular Usmaniyya who has spent less than two years in office.
The tour was led by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed Birnin Kebbi; and he was accompanied by Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Aliyu; the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Malam Yahaya Sarki; and other officials.
The participants visited key sites, including the Ultra-Modern Secretariat Complex at Gwadangwaji, the Birnin Kebbi Central Motor Park, and the rice fields at the Zauro polder station, highlighting Kebbi’s abundant rice farming potential’ the statement said.

Addressing the participants at the Gwadangwaji Ultra-Modern Secretariat Complex, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed Birnin Kebbi detailed the significance of the projects initiated and completed by the Governor Idris admnistration.
He emphasized the historical importance of the Secretariat Complex, which had been abandoned before its recent completion while adding that it is now ready for inauguration.
Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Aliyu, welcomed the participants to Kebbi State and commended Governor Idris for hosting the historic event. He praised the governor’s commitment to ensuring the welfare of participants throughout their stay in the state.
Expressing their gratitude, some among the participants, including Jamilu Isah from Katsina State and Maimuna Pategi from Abuja, offered prayers for continued development and progress of Kebbi State while praising Governor Nasir Idris’ visionary leadership and asking God to give him good health-Team@orientactualmags.com
