New Iyaloja General Receives ‘Letter Of Recognition’ In Kwara

Following her election by other market women leaders in the 16 local governments in the state, the Kwara State Government through the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology, has presented a letter of recognition to the new Iyaloja  General of Kwara State, Alhaja Muyibat Olumo .

Alhaja Muyibat Olumo was elected as the new Iyaloja General through a voice vote by other market women leaders in the 16 local governments in the state following the death of her predecessor, Alhaja Sidikat Akaje.

A statement  issued in Ilorin and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  by the press secretary of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology, Taibat Adams, noted that the commissioner in charge of the ministry, Hon. Damilola Yusuf- Adelodun, presented the letter of recognition to Muyibat Olumo.

The commissioner, who was represented by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary , Mrs. Mary Kemi Adeosun, congratulated the new Iyaloja for the recognition, ‘having undergone the necessary procedures and due process’.

She also thanked members of the Kwara State Association of Marketers for their support during the process of electing the new Iyaloja General.

The commissioner advised Alhaja Muyibat Olumo to be dedicated, transparent, ensure accountability, and coordinate  the affairs of marketers  appropriately.
