Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has stated the need to make more new naira notes available to the citizens in order to ease things for the masses and stabilize the currency swap exercise
.
Abdulrazaq’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the governor said this when a delegation from the Consumer Protection Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN led by Mrs Rashidat Jumoke Monguno visited the Government House, Ilorin on Friday.
The Governor had since urged patience whilst all the stakeholders work together to ease the situation.
‘It’s quite proactive for you to come down to various states to see that compliance is being followed through down to the grassroots level. Our people really need this at this time.
We appreciate your coming and we will continue to engage the citizens, traditional institutions, students, all other segments of the society, farmers and NGOs to pass the message to the people so we can have calmness and make sure the process is seamless’ he said- Team@orientactualmags.com
