New Year Message: Mohammed Ajia Urges Nigerians To Keep Hope Alive, Pray For Peace, Stability

In a heartfelt New Year message on Wednesday, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, President/CEO of Funab Group of Companies Limited and, Asa/Ilorin West PDP House of Representatives candidate in the 2023 General Election, extended warm wishes to Kwarans and Nigerians in general while urging them to keep hope alive and pray for peace and stability in the country.

In a statement he issued in Abuja on Wednesday, 1st of January 2025, which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Director of Communications, Mallam Abdulrahman Aliagan , Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia restated his commitment to advocating for a prosperous Nigeria through actionable reforms and a spirit of togetherness.

He acknowledged the trials and tribulations of the outgoing year, describing 2024 as a challenging period marked by economic hardship and political instability while however praising the resilience and unity demonstrated by Nigerians during these testing times, calling it a testament to the nation’s enduring spirit.

‘As we enter 2025, I urge every Nigerian to keep hope alive and continue to pray that Almighty God gives us peace, stability, and prosperity in our dear nation.

Our collective prayers, coupled with a commitment to positive action, remain powerful tools in surmounting the trials before us’ he said.

Ajia also used the opportunity to call on government at all levels to prioritize innovative strategies aimed at alleviating the economic challenges and hardship facing the citizens. He also called for urgent reforms to tackle the rising cost of living, unemployment, insecurity, inflation and infrastructure deficits among others 

‘Strengthening economic reforms, supporting small and medium enterprises, investing in youth development, and curbing wasteful spending are essential steps toward restoring economic stability and national progress’ he advised.

Furthermore, Ajia emphasized the importance of inclusivity, transparency, and accountability in governance, noting that fostering trust and a sense of belonging among all citizens would help to achieve sustainable progress.

Ajia  also urged patience and faith, encouraging fellow Nigerians to remain committed to the collective goal of building a brighter future for the country.
