
President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, and some members of the NFF Executive Committee paid a condolence visit to former Nigeria international and President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, Tijani Babangida, on Sunday.
Recall that Tijani was involved in a ghastly auto crash along Kaduna–Zaria Road last week Thursday.
While Babangida, his wife and his maid survived with varying degrees of injuries , his brother , a 1993 U-17 World Cup winner, Ibrahim Babangida, however lost his life in the auto crash.
Tijani Babangida’s one-year -old son, Fadil, also died on Friday night.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the NFF posted the picture taken during the condolence visit on Sunday.
‘The delegation met Tijani Babangida at a hospital in Abuja to which he was transferred from ABUTH, and commiserated with the former World Cup star on the deaths of his brother and son, while praying for quick recovery for himself and his dear wife, who is still under intensive care at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria’ the NFF submitted.
