NGF Chairman Condemns Xmas Eve Attack In Plateau, Offers His Condolences
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state, who is also the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), has described as shocking and sad the Christmas eve attack that was recorded in 15 villages in Barkin Ladi local government , Plateau state.
The police have so far announced 96 as number of causalities.
The Kwara state governor in a statement made available toTeam@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye has sent his heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Plateau state, especially the bereaved families.
Condemning the gruesome murder that occurred on the eve of Christmas celebration, Governor AbdulRazaq noted that nothing could have justified the violence visited on innocent people, while urging the security agencies to investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to book.
