NGF Chairman : GAC Congratulates Gov Abdulrazaq…Governors Have Taken ‘Right Decision’-Ex-rep Mashood Mustapha

Kwara state APC chieftain, Hon. Mashood Mustapha, has congratulated  Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on his emergence as chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum(NGF).

It will be recalled that Governor Abdulrazaq had  emerged as ‘consensus candidate’   for ‘Chairman’ during the closed-door meeting held by members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF)  in Abuja on Tuesday night.

Mustapha, a former member of  the House of Representatives, in a statement  made available to  Team@orientactualmags.com noted that ‘a right decision’ has been taken by the governors at this critical period. 

‘I congratulate Governor AbdulRahman on his election and elevation as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).

I am confident that the NGF under AbdulRahman’s leadership will continue in the best practice and further deepen the cooperation that usually exists between the forum and president, particularly as the country gears up for a new dispensation hoping to bring a better life for Nigerians. 

I wish  him a very successful and impactful tenure’ he said.

The Governor Advisory Council( GAC) , Kwara state has also  congratulated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on his emergence as  Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman ,  Barrister Kunle Sulyman and the Deputy Chairman, Amb. Nurudeen Mohammed, the GAC also congratulated Kwarans for their governor’s remarkable achievement. 

‘Coming in the wake of Your Excellency’s recent re-election as governor of Kwara state, this honour by your distinguished colleagues confirms the sterling qualities of the leadership you have offered in Kwara in the last four years and for which you have had a resounding mandate for another 4 years.

 These qualities, we believe, shall be brought to bear as you lead this distinguished body to deliver on the ‘New Hopes’ ahead
