Nigerians Faced With ‘Conflicting Information’ As 2face-Annie Divorce Rumours Spread
Barely three years after renewing their marriage vows during their 10th wedding anniversary, Afro-pop legend, Innocent ‘2face’ Idibia, and his wife, Annie are battling divorce rumours.
The drama began with an Instagram post by 2face announcing his decision to end the marriage that has produced two girls: Isabella and Olivia.
‘Hello to my beautiful people of all federations. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long…. Annie Macaulay and I have been separated for a while now. and currently filed divorce… I would grant a press release soon to say my story..not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life; but because I love my people, and I need them to know my innocence or offense. stay blessed my people. I love you all’ he wrote.
He however deleted the post later and claimed that his Instagram account was hacked.
That was not all, uncertainty surrounds the future of the marriage as the popular musician went live on his Instagram account to confirm what was contained in the post he deleted.
Annie and 2face had their traditional wedding in May 2012, they later had a wedding ceremony in Dubai in March 2013 which was attended by prominent Nigerians.
