‘Ignore fake rumours, NLC is never divided. We are one united and strong labour centre. The protest rally will be held Tomorrow (Wednesday) nationwide’ @NLCheadquarters wrote.
‘We have no reasons to call off the planned protest. If we suspend or call it off, you will know. I can tell you that the mobilization is very high’ Ajaero had earlier submitted.
In the meanwhile, 16 Northern-based civil society groups under the umbrella of the Coalition of Arewa Civil Society Organizations have pulled out from the planned strike submitting that it will affect the nation’s fragile economy negatively and cause more hardships to the ordinary citizens.
In a joint statement by Chairman ,Comrade Ibraheem Suleman Dogo and Secretary, Comrade Friday Luka Dalung the Arewa Coalition, said the planned strike action ‘is not the best way to resolve problems and the current harsh economic conditions caused by the removal of fuel subsidy’.
They added that the strike would cripple the country as movement would be severely curtailed while markets, schools, and healthcare facilities would be forced to shut down-Team@orientactualmags.com
