No ‘Real’ Islamic Cleric Should Worry About Money-Sheikh Hamad Labeeb Agbaji
An Islamic scholar, Sheikh Hamad Labeeb Agbaji, who is popularly called Ijoba, has submitted that a ‘real’ Islamic cleric has no reason to be worried about money, his needs or suffer from ‘money dysmorphia’.
An Islamic scholar, he noted, should rather be devoutly religious and be committed to spiritual growth and service and become spiritually strong in order that God can give his prayers ‘express approval’.
Sheikh Hamad Labeeb Agbaji, who said this in his short sermon at the iftar dinner and lecture held to mark Hon Razaq Owolabi’s birthday at his CBN Quarters residence in Ilorin on Thursday, noted that there is no need for an Islamic cleric to worry about his expenses as those who have their burdens lifted and appreciate him for being a ‘man of God’ will definitely show appreciation.
