No Sign Of Survivor As Helicopter Carrying Access Bank CEO, Ex-NSE Chairman, 4 Others Crashes Near California-Nevada Border
A helicopter with six people aboard crashed near the California-Nevada border on Friday night and no survivor has been found as at Saturday night.
The Federal Aviation Administration has submitted that the Eurocopter EC 130 crashed near Nipton, the outer reaches of the Mojave Desert Preserve, east of the 15 Freeway, at about 10 p.m. local time .
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that there was a rainy weather when the incident happened.
Recall that this has come a few days after five Marines died when their chopper crashed in the Golden State.
The helicopter that crashed on Friday night is said to be registered to a Burbank-area tour company called Orbic.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said the flight was heading to Boulder City, Nevada, about 25 miles outside of Las Vegas.

Those aboard the helicopter include the CEO of Access Bank Plc, Herbert Wigwe, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former president of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE.
Mr Wigwe’s wife and son were also said to be aboard the ill-fated helicopter, but this has not been confirmed.
‘The identities of the deceased persons will be released once positive identification has been made and next of kin notifications have been made’ the sheriff’s department said on Saturday.
Herbert Wigwe , who was born on August 15, 1966, was appointed as Group Managing Director/CEOof Access Bank Plc on January 1, 2014 , and he served in that capacity until May 2022.
Not many knew about his being a former CEO and he had since gotten recognized officially as a Non-Executive Director of the Bank effective from May 2022.
He was also until his passing on Friday night, the Chairman of The Access Bank (UK) Ltd and a Non-Executive Director of the Nigerian Mortgage Refinance Company Plc; FMDQ OTC Securities Exchange; Shared Agents Network Expansion Facilities Ltd and Agri-Business/ SME Enterprises Investment Scheme.-.-Team@orientactualmags.com
