NSCDC To Job Seekers: Beware Of Fake, Invalid Employment Letters
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has asked members of the public, especially the job seekers, to beware of fake and invalid employment letters in circulation.
The security agency also warned desperate job seekers to exercise caution so as not to be deceived by the fraudsters.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the NSCDC said this on Friday in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, Babawale Afolabi noting that the security agency has been informed of the existence of such fake letters.
‘NSCDC has been inundated with complaints from victims who had parted with their hard earned money ranging from N250,000 to N500,000 for letters which are fake at best.
The Commandant General of the NSCDC, Ahmed Audi, will like to alert the public to the fake and malicious employment letters currently circulating in the country and to state categorically and unequivocally that the misleading and criminal employment letters did not emanate from the NSCDC nor from the Fire, Immigration and Correctional Service Board but the handiwork of yet to be identified and faceless criminally-minded individuals who are taking undue advantage of desperate job seekers in the country’ he said.
The statement added that the NSCDC CG has ordered a nationwide manhunt for members of the syndicate behind the viral NSCDC employment letters while noting that such efforts are already yielding positive results-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
