Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has been described as one of the most resourceful human assets gifted to Kwara South by God.
John Kenny, an indigene of Kwara South, in a piece sent to Team@orientactualmags.com also praised the aerospace engineer for having a strong enthusiasm for anything that has to with the senatorial district.
He has emphasized the need for other sons and daughters of Kwara South to emulate Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, who is a member of the Board of Trustees of TETFUND.
Kenny has also specially commended Engineer Adeyemi for making the sum of N1 million naira available in support of an intellectual revolution initiative in the senatorial district.
‘In a society where men of means who care about the development of their communities are as scarce as an oasis in the desert, Engr. Nurudeen remarkably stands out. You wanna see the America-based aerospace engineer in his element, just bring up a conversation that borders on how to move Kwara South forward. His knack for facilitating development to the region is legendary!
To rescue the Nigerian system of education from the brink of collapse, like every other discerning Nigerian, Engr. Adeyemi is not oblivious of the fact that the book must be brought back to the fabric of the nation’s education industry. Little wonder when I intimated him about my initiative to stir up the hornet’s nest of intellectual revolution in schools across Kwara South, he didn’t have to blink an eye before he gave his blessings. An avid reader, I needed not to sermonize him about the critical role which the fight against intellectual poverty in our schools could play in improving the academic performance of the target audience.
One doesn’t have to be on the same political page to recognize the Esie -born Diaspora engineer as a worthy son of Kwara South (KS). Indeed, we are lucky to have such a meek, humble, benevolent, progressive, and people-oriented personality in our midst.
Certainly, for development in Kwara South to assume a significant dimension, many an Engr. Nurudeen will need to come on board. When attempting to facilitate development to his people, he can be humble to a fault- he won’t mind calling ‘were loko yawo koje ka ari ona lo’. Some say the impactful engineer is so adept at weaving the craft of stooping to conquer that one cannot but admire his sense of humility.
At this juncture, I think it’s important that we encourage and appreciate Engr. ENACT and many other sons and daughters of Kwara South striving to contribute in one way or another towards the development of the region. May God multiply your blessings and prosper your wallets.
