Nurudeen Adeyemi Mourns Oba Olanrewaju Omikunle’s Passing
Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, who represents North Central on the Board of TETFUND, has mourned the passing of Oba Olanrewaju Adedamola Omikunle, who was until his demise on Thursday, the Oludofian of Idofian, Ifelodun local government, Kwara State.
In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Thursday night, Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun described Oba Omikunle’s passing as a blow to the entire Idofian community because of the services he had rendered to the town since his ascension to the throne last year.
‘I received with shock the news of the ascension to the great beyond of Oba Olanrewaju Adedamola Omikunle.
It is God Almighty who giveth and also taketh life and there is no leaf that can fall from a tree without the knowledge of the all-knowing God. The deceased monarch gave his all for his community and uplifted the throne and the institution of his forebears within his short but impactful reign.
My heartfelt condolences go to the Kwara State Government, the Kwara State Council of Chiefs especially monarchs in Kwara South, the good people of Idofian, the council of chiefs in Idofian and Oba Olanrewaju Omikunle’s immediate and extended family. May God comfort them and give them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
