NWC Overrules Ehaje Ward 1 Officials, Says Augustine Agada Remains Benue APC Chairman

APC National Working Committee has overruled officials of the party in Ehaje Ward 1 in Ogbadibo Local Government, Benue state with respect to the decision they announced on Wednesday.
Recall that a statement issued by the ward chairman, Godwin Abah, and seven others had accused the state chairman, Augustine Agada of engaging in anti-party activities and declared him suspended from the party.
They had added that Agada snubbed them when he was invited by the excos.

The Ehaje Ward 1 APC officials said Agada was suspended from the party after a vote of no confidence was passed on him.
Agada had however asserted that Godwin Abah ,who signed the statement had ceased to be the Ward chairman since December 10, 2023.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that APC NWC also helped to save Agada’s neck on Wednesday evening by not only cancelling his suspension but also having him affirmed as chairman of the party in the state .
‘The attention of the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress has been drawn to media reports in respect of the purported suspension of the party’s Chairman in Benue state, Mr Augustine Agada, by party executives in his Ehaje Ward 1, Owukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government.
The party has directed that the said suspension and all related actions in the matter be, and are hereby, set aside pending further review and decision of the party’s National Working Committee on the matter.
Therefore, Mr Augustine Agada remains a bonafide member and the chairman of the Benue state chapter of our party’ the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, submitted in a statement he issued in Abuja on Wednesday evening-Team@orientactualmags.com
