Oba Dapo Tejuoso, Kwara Monarchs, Olododo, Vice-Chancellors, Other Dignitaries In Attendance As Oba Olawuyi Honours Nurudeen Adeyemi With Chieftaincy Title In Oko-Irese
The Oloko of Oko-Irese, Oba Victor Oluwafemi Olawuyi Adogunnibo 1 Ilufemiloye has honoured Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun with a chieftaincy title.
Oko-Irese is in Irepodun local government, Kwara State.
Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, an aerospace engineer, is a member of the Board of Trustees of TETFUND where he represents the North Central geopolitical zone.
The TETFUND Board member, who is an indigene of Esie, Irepodun local government, was honoured with the chieftaincy title of Aare Atadese of Oko-Irese.
The installation ceremony was part of the activities held to mark Oba Victor Oluwafemi Olawuyi’s 20th coronation anniversary.






Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, was represented at the event by a delegation of ENACT officials led by Hon Adebayo Jimoh Alao, former chairman of Oyun local government, and a one-time Commissioner for Sports in the state.
In an interview with journalists including Team@orientactualmags.com, Hon Adebayo Jimoh Alao said the chieftaincy title was in recognition of the TETFUND Board member’s leadership qualities, outstanding contribution to the growth and progress of Kwara South and Kwara State as a whole and his passion for human development while noting that the honour done to Engineer Adeyemi will spur him to do more.
‘Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi is a man of the people, our people have continued to praise his contribution to the growth and progress of Kwara South, and this is what he has been doing over the years and he will continue to work for the progress of Kwara South and Kwara State as a whole’ he added.

Giving his speech, the Olupo of Ajase -Ipo, Oba Ismail Yahya Alebiosu said Oba Victor Oluwafemi Olawuyi has continued to do Igbomina people proud while wishing him many more years on the throne.
Agboola Samuel Olatayo, who is popularly called MC Pluto, compered the event while Mr Sulaiman Ayilara Aremu aka Ajobiewe entertained the guests by chanting praise poetry.
