Obio Akpor LG Chairman Removes Wike’s Name From Secretariat Building

A former chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government, Rivers State, who is currently the Minister of FCT, Mr. Nyesom Wike, had his name engraved on the walls of the council secretariat a few years ago but he has been made to lose the privilege.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Chijioke Ihunwo, who is the new chairman of the local government, has posted a video of himself in which he personally supervised this action,
Wike’s name had since been replaced with that of late Obi Wali, a former politician and an activist.
‘We have changed Wike’s name in the admin block of Obio/Akpor Council, and replaced his name with the name of SENATOR DR. OBI WALI’ Ihunwo submitted on X.
Recall that Rivers state had continued to witness political dramas since the relationship between Governor Similaye Fubara and his immediate predecessor, Mr Nyesom Wike became frosty.
