Ogun state government has announced World Champion, Oluwatobi Amusan as Youth Ambassador, Governor Dapo Abiodun , who disclosed this during the visit of Amusan to the Government House , Abeokuta , has also gifted her N5 million and a house.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Abiodun , who has made reference to the visit in a Facebook post , also posted pictures taken during the meeting.
‘I announced her appointment as Youth Ambassador in Ogun State and a donation of a house, as well as five million Naira in recognition of her world records and other stellar achievements’ he wrote.
It will be recalled that Tobi Amusan became the first Nigerian to win gold at the World Athletics Championships in July this year after racing to a stunning world record time of 12.06s.
