OIA Welcomes Kazeem Adio’s Defection To APC, Calls Him ‘Valuable Politician’

A group, the Osun Itesiwaju Alliance (OIA) on Saturday described Alhaji Kazeem Ademola Adio’s decision to leave PDP for APC as a ‘welcome development’.
OIA in a statement issued in Osogbo by its Chairman, Mr Paul Oderinu and Secretary, Mr Iwaloye Sulaiman which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com called Alhaji Kazeem Adio ‘valuable politician’ while noting that he is one of the prominent figures who are passionate about the growth and development of Osun State.
Recall that Prince Kazeem Adio, an indigene of Iwo, had announced his decision to leave PDP for APC on Friday.
Adio, had at different times served as Commissioner for Environment, and Secretary to the State Government during the Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola administration.
OIA noted on Saturday that Prince Kazeem Adio is capable of making sound decisions that would benefit the people of the state hence the need to commend him.
The group however urged the former SSG to continue to contribute positively to the political system while joining others to advance democracy in the country and also working for the growth and progress of Osun State.
‘We welcome Alhaji Kazeem Adio’s decision to leave PDP for APC because it is within his right to do so. He is free to join any political party and leave when he feels it is expedient to do so. He is a valuable politician, and he had helped his former party to achieve victory in the 2017 Osun West senate bye-election and he had also supported the party in so many other ways.
The political climate must have motivated him to take such a decision.
Now that he is in the APC, we look forward to having him joined others to strengthen the party , it is the beauty of democracy, the most important thing is the growth , development and progress of our dear Osun State’ the group added-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
