Okada Rider’s Attempt To Kidnap Woman Thwarted By FRSC Officers In Ogun
Federal Road Safety Corps officers stopped an okada rider from kidnapping a female passenger in Abeokuta , Ogun state capital, on Sunday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned spokesperson for FRSC in Ogun state, Florence Okpe, who disclosed this in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Monday, said the incident occurred at about 3 pm on Sunday.
The FRSC officials , the statement noted, rescued the woman from Dauda Usman, who had carried her on his Bajaj Motorcycle with registration number, PKA211WA, Red BAJAJ.
‘The FRSC team was informed by some commercial motorcycle riders that a woman was being taken away by a suspected bike rider due to the alarm raised by the woman on the bike. The patrol team quickly intervened and got the bike rider arrested.
On interrogation, the passenger told the FRSC patrol leader that the rider refused to stop after reaching their agreed destination at Immigration Centre, Abeokuta.
The Okada rider was said to have proceeded to another destination, making the woman to call for help and some bike rider stationed at Laderin Estate junction followed them immediately.
The patrol team with the help of other bike riders rescued the woman and handed them to the police Special Weapons and Tactics Team’ she added-. Team@orientactualmags.com
