Olawale Rasheed Says List Of Gov Adeleke’s Cabinet Nominees Has Been Sent To Osun Assembly For Confirmation Hearings

Governor Ademola Adeleke has made cabinet nominations and the list of his cabinet nominees and the number of Special Advisers he would be appointing, has been sent to the Osun state House of Assembly, his spokesman, Mr. Olawale Rasheed , told Team@orientactualmags.com on Tuesday  .

He noted that  cabinet nominees would have their names read out  on the floor of the house   when  the  house of assembly ends  its recess early next week. 

‘The House of Assembly had gone on recess after its inauguration to allow the new lawmakers  get prepared for legislative  duties and for the logistics of House operations to be firmed up for newly inaugurated Assembly’ he said.

‘ His Excellency has gotten the list of cabinet nominees ready  and he has sent this  to the State Assembly. The House is resuming next week and expectedly, the Speaker will disclose the names of cabinet nominees  to his colleagues  ahead of confirmation hearings.

The governor and the state leadership have done the needful and the public should expect the list to be made public sooner than later.

The delay was clearly due to many factors, namely; the protracted litigation on the outcome of the governorship election and the state Assembly, National Assembly and the presidential elections.
