A statement made available toTeam@orientactualmags.com by Mr. Bolaji Aladie, who is Dr Oloriegbe’s media aide, quoted the former senator as advising those who had just performed hajj to make the most of the spiritual enlightenment provided by the journey and to refrain from engaging in any activities that would compromise their Hajj having become embodiment of saintliness.
Prof. Mashood Mahmud Jimba, Chairman of the State Pilgrims Board, expressed appreciation to the governor for appointing Dr Oloriegbe as the Amirul-Hajj, lauding the former lawmaker’s outstanding leadership which, he noted, was a significant asset for the State Board in facilitating the hajj operations.
Jimba assured that the Board will continue to capitalize on this momentum and apply the lessons learned in preparation for future operations.
