Olukoro : Ex-Gov AbdulFatah Ahmed Condoles Koro Community, Urges Security Agencies To Rescue Queen Consort, Other Victims

Former governor of Kwara state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has commiserated with the people of Koro over the passing of the Olukoro of Koro, His Royal Highness, Oba Segun Aremu.

Recall that   Oba Segun Aremu, a  retired  General , was made to  join his ancestors by unknown gunmen, who not only committed a sacrilege by attacking his palace in Koro Ekiti, Ekiti local government, Kwara state, on Thursday night  but had  also made him embark on an unplanned trip to the great beyond.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the Queen Consort and two others were also taken away by the gunmen.

Alhaji AbdulFatah Ahmed  in a Facebook post said he was profoundly shocked and grief-stricken by the tragedy.

He sympathised with the late retired General’s family and the Koro community over the traditional ruler’s passing , which he described as ‘tragic and sacrilegious.’

‘My thoughts and prayers are with the Aremu family and the entire Koro at this challenging period of mourning and sadness.

I urge the security agencies to diligently pursue the assailants, rescue the Olori and bring the culprits to justice’ he submitted-.Team@orientactualmags.com
