Omisore Urges South West People To Give Tinubu ‘Full Support’
Ahead of the presidential election scheduled to hold on 25 February 2023, APC National Secretary, former senator Iyiola Omisore, has urged the South West people to give the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu ‘full support’.
‘We can only demonstrate our total commitment and seriousness through the number of votes Asiwaju Bola Tinubu gets on 25 February 2023 which must reflect a strong support. To plan to do this, is for us to gear up and face the reality by not banking on votes from other regions but also ensuring that we vote massively for Asiwaju to show that we truly want our person to occupy that exalted position. We must not be complacent about this, we must avoid a lukewarm attitude and redouble our efforts to mobilize people and make them vote for Asiwaju’ Omisore, a one-time Deputy Governor of Osun state, submitted.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Omisore said this during the programme organized by the Directorate of Parliamentarians in the South west headed by former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Olubunmi Etteh which was held in Ikire, Osun state .
‘There is no other way to expect victory for our person than ensuring that we convince the people to come out on Election Day and vote for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and that is what can assure us of the desired victory’ he added.
The event was attended by former and serving members of the National Assembly including Basiru Ajibola, Soji Akanbi, Rotimi Makinde, Tony Adeniyi ,Yinka Ajayi, Soji Akanbi,Gafar Ameere, Asimiyu Alabi, Taiwo Oluga, Bosun Oladele, all former Speakers and Deputy Speakers in the geo-political zone and ALGON chairmen and councilors while Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola was represented by Mr Gboyega Alabi- Team@orientactualmags.com
