Omo Ibile Igbomina: Nurudeen Adeyemi’s Bus Donation Earns ‘Intentional’ Prayers From Igbomina Monarchs
To ease transportation for the association’s events and activities, Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has donated a brand-new hummer bus to Omo Ibile Igbomina.
The donation was made during the inauguration ceremony of the new National Executives of Omo Ibile Igbomina at the Igbomina House, Ganmo on Saturday.
Omo Ibile Igbomina is a non-political socio-cultural platform that brings together all Igbomina people home and abroad.
Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, who was unavoidably absent, was represented by a delegation of ENACT officials led by a former member of Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Abdulrahman Akanni.
ENACT is an acronym for ‘Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Contact Team’.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that other members of the delegation include Professor Bashir Olaitan , Hon Ayo Yusuf , Hon (Chief) Olu Adewara, Hon Tunde Fadipe, and Hon Stephen Agboola.
Giving his speech, Hon Abdulrahman Akanni talked about Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun’s altruistic acts, defining traits and good qualities which, he noted, had been acknowledged and appreciated by everyone more than one decade ago while he just ventured into politics before the 2019 General Election.
He cited Igbomina Mobile Clinic which the aerospace engineer established 12 years ago and had a widespread impact. Every part of Igbomina land, he added, enjoyed free drugs and received free medical interventions.
The former state lawmaker presented the bus keys to traditional rulers in Igbominaland led by Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Alebiosu for royal blessings and onward presentation to the new National President of Omo Ibile Igbomina, Chief Bisi Fakayode.
The monarchs took turns to pray for Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun and also commended him for his selfless actions.
One of the monarchs noted that an ‘omoluabi’ will always show the traits of a person of good character, integrity, and virtue while adding that Adeyemi is a true beacon of hope.
Another traditional ruler also said Adeyemi is one of the great sons of Igbominaland noting that a non-Igbomina person had earlier donated a bus to the association but he has now made one that is higher in price available for the use of leaders of Omo Ibile Igbomina.
Oba Ismail Alebiosu, who prayed that God will reward Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun and bless him for donating the brand-new bus to Omo Ibile Igbomina, also urged well-to- do sons and daughters of Igbomina land to emulate him.
