Osun APC Accuses Gov Adeleke’s Sister Of Playing Roles Not Recognized By Constitution

Osun State APC on Monday accused Governor Ademola Adeleke’s sister, Chief (Mrs.) Dupe Adeleke-Sanni of playing roles that are alien to the nation’s constitution submitting that never in the history of the 34-year-old state was the type of the meddlesome interloping by members of the family of a governor experienced or recorded.

‘The event at the palace of the Oluwo of Iwo recently when the elder sister of Governor Adeleke, Mrs Dupe Adeleke-Sanni, paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the royal father was an eye and ear sore. There were so many revelations as to the power of the woman in her brother’s administration. 

It was an indication that Governor Adeleke is only a governor by a mere designation. His siblings are not only in charge but in the total control of the convulsing administration.

A beneficiary of Adeleke-Sanni’s  kind gesture who appeared not to know the negative political effect of the encomiums being showered on his godmother felt carried away and disclosed that the woman who never stood for any election is the Alpha and Omega in the government of her brother’ Osun State APC  noted in a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the party’s spokesman, Mr. Kola Olabisi.

The party noted that Governor Adeleke’s predecessors have brothers and sisters who never got involved in the way things were done.

‘Former state governor, Chief Bisi Akande had siblings who were not known to have played the shameful role of meddlesome interlopers in the administration headed by their brother.

Something that was even peculiar to the first national chairman of the APC when he was the governor was that he never created the Office of the Wife of the Governor noting that it was unconstitutional, as his wife never stood for any election.

It was also to the knowledge of all and sundry that former state governor, Rauf Aregbesola has brothers and sisters who did not meddle with their brother’s administration for whatever reason.

Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the immediate past governor of the state , who is now the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, is also blessed with sisters and brothers who were neither obtrusive or intrusive into their brother’s administration’ the statement added while alleging that Chief (Mrs.) Dupe Adeleke-Sanni has an unusual influence or hold on her brother to the extent that official files of the government must pass through her before getting signed.

‘It is strange that there is an Office of the Sister to the Governor under the Governor Nuru Adeleke administration as against the Office of the Wife of the Governor which though not constitutional, but has become a norm’ the party added while alleging that Chief (Mrs.) Dupe Adeleke-Sanni has been distributing public offices to her cronies and also had the Deputy Governor vacating his seat for her at public functions  which is a breach of  protocol-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
