Osun APC : Oyetola Urges ‘Unity Of Effort’ To Strengthen Party During Meeting With Ex-LG Chairmen In Osogbo

Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola on Monday urged the immediate past Local Government Chairmen in Osun state to remain resolute and forthright in the general interest of taking the APC to an enviable height in the state in particular and Nigeria in general.
Oyetola also emphasized the need for unity, peace, justice and high sense of brotherhood as the party remains resolute to return to power in the state soon.
The former Osun state governor also reaffirmed Hon. Abiodun Idowu as leader of ex-council chairmen in the state. Idowu was the state ALGON chairman during the Oyetola administration.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the minister said this while playing host to former LG Chairmen in the state at the Ilerioluwa campaign office, Osogbo .
He called on the ex-council chairmen to remain united, indivisible and build a formidable frontier for the goodness, victory and success of the party in future elections.
‘It’s time to be more united as a formidable group towards building a solid and strong progressive party. Let’s jettison our differences, forgive each other if there are any grievances and work together as a united entity.
As we are resolute to build a formidable frontier, we should continue to join hands together and work as a team under Hon. Abiodun Idowu’s leadership. It is time to stimulate and reactivate party activities at our various units, wards and local governments even at the state level for the goodness of all and sundry’ he added.
Earlier, the immediate past Speaker of Osun state House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye extolled the sterling performance and leadership quality of the former ALGON chairman, Abiodun Idowu, who he described as an exemplary being and an astute politician of repute.
Owoeye urged the leadership and members of the group not to relent in their efforts to reinvigorate and reposition the party structures for victories in future victories.
In his short speech, Hon. Idowu expressed profound gratitude to Oyetola for being supportive to the group in particular and the party in general while he specially commended the Minister for the kind gestures and massive yuletide gifts extended to party leaders, members and sympathizers during last Christmas and new year.
