Osun APC Reacts To Gov Adeleke’s ‘Serving Only One Interest’ Comments, Accuses Him Of Nepotism
Osun State APC on Saturday accused the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration of nepotism and underperformance while also alleging adoption of lies as policies to run the affairs of the state and noting that ‘the discerning members of the public are fed up with the governor’s barrage of lies which have become the hallmark of his government’.
The state APC in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its spokesman, Mr Kola Olabisi noted that the party has done this in reaction to the comments made by the governor last week.
‘It was reported that when Governor Adeleke was holding his so-called Executive Council meeting on Thursday evening which he normally holds when it is affordable, contrary to the practice of serious-minded governments at all levels, he spewed out other series of lies among which was the desire of his government to develop the state.
The statement issued by the governor’s spokesman titled: ‘Those Plotting To Derail Our Government Have Failed’ went further to state another of the governor’s directive for the recruitment of teachers which he has been promising and failing on several occasions.
The embattled governor was reported to have also annoyingly stated that: ‘As the governor of this state, I serve only one interest – the aspiration of Osun people for development’ Osun State APC said.
.
The statement added that Governor Adeleke’s ‘serving only one interest’ comments, showed that he was misrepresented because ‘this posture of his has not been reflecting in the provision of physical developmental projects in the state’.
‘What the governor should have holistically stated was that his sole interest and aspiration which he has been executing to the letter is the development of Ede, his home town with only two local governments. He has been visibly developing these two local governments to the detriment of the other 28 local governments and one Area Office in the state.
If not greed, what would have informed Governor Adeleke to embark on the dualisation of all the five entry roads to Ede while the same cannot be said about the other towns in the state, even Osogbo, the state capital?
For clarification sake about the Adeleke administration’s concentration of the developmental projects in Ede, the road from Awo Junction to Ede; the road from Ara Junction to Ede; the road from Ido-Osun to Ede; the road from the state government secretariat, Abere, to Ede and Akoda Junction to Ede have either been dualised or undergoing rapid dualisation with the contractors working there day and night.
As if the tons of insults heaped on the discerning people of the state are not enough, it has been recently discovered that Adeleke, in defiance of the Federal Government’s directive to stop the relocation of Ido-Osun Airport from Ido-Osun to Ede, has been secretly constructing an airport at the backyard of his house around Aisu area of Ede with funds belonging to the state’ the party said..
The statement added that the governor will be replaced with ‘an astute, brilliant, workaholic and forward-looking’ Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji(AMBO) after the governorship election scheduled to hold in the state on August 15, 2026-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
