Osun APC Thanks President Tinubu For Appointing Sowade As OORBDA Director, Condemns Osun PDP Group’s Press Statement

Osun State APC on Saturday thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, for getting one of the chieftains of the party in the state, Engr. Kayode Sowade appointed as Executive Director of Engineering Services, Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authorities, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Recall that Sowade’s appointment was announced along with others by Mr Bayo Onanuga, the president’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy on Friday.

Sowade replaces Engr. Julius Oloro, who was the Executive Director of Engineering Services, until a replacement was made on Friday.

‘The appointment of Engr. Sowade by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a square peg in a square hole as there is no doubt that the new appointee would add substantial value to the Federal Government’s parastatals in the overall interest of the nation.

Sowade has indeed paid his dues in ensuring that the APC has a tap root which would be pretty difficult to  be replaced in the subsisting scheme of things in his constituency.

May God grant the newly appointed Executive Director of Engineering Services, Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authorities the wherewithal to excel in his new call to the service of his mother land.

Our gratitude also goes to Alhaji Oyetola whose recommendation to President Tinubu facilitated the appointment’ the party submitted in a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its spokesman, Chief Kola Olabisi on Saturday.

 In separate statement, the party has condemned the press statement issued by those it referred to as ‘faceless Osun PDP group’ submitting that there was nothing unusual about the non-inclusion of the state APC Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal among the state chairmen who got board appointments on Friday.

President Tinubu, the party noted, is doing this in batches.

‘Our attention has been drawn to a damaging composition against the forward-looking state chairman of our party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, written by a faceless group purported to be a subset of the rudderless and visibly embattled Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State.

Ideally, it is not our practice to respond to a conjectured diatribe which origin could only be from a beer parlour as our fast-check revealed that the faceless Tope Olagoke who signed the composition of the nameless group in issue is not in any way in existence in the state or anywhere in Nigeria.

We can only appeal to our numerous supporters to disregard the entirety of the charade titled: ‘Federal Appointment: Do Not Neglect Sooko Tajudeen – Osun PDP Group Appeal(sic) to President Tinubu’ as it was composed and pushed out to cause acrimony in our party which has failed its target.

We were surprised that a group of politically-never-do-well in the embattled PDP can still have the time to publish such a composition despite the fact that the party right from the national to the local level is visibly known to be in disarray.

We want to make it abundantly clear to the meddlesome interlopers whose mission to cause cataclysm in our party has hit the rock that our party at its various levels is based on the rule of law, fair play and due process.

When has it become a denial for the manifestly hardworking state chairman of our party to be compensated with a board chairmanship of a parastatal by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu when such an exercise is known to be done in batches out of which only 19 state chairmen out of 37 have been so appointed?

There is amity, co-operation, oneness and unity of purpose in our party which is lacking in the Osun State chapter of the PDP where it is evident how the embattled Governor Ademola Adeleke, his siblings and other members of his kitchen cabinet have chased away the real owners of the reactionary party in the state after using their goodwill to fraudulently rig the elections in the state.

We urge the faceless promoters and leg soldiers of the Ill-motivated composition of the tirade to go back to their drawing board with a view to cooking another harangue as this one can neither sit nor fly.

If Sooko Tajudeen Lawal has not been up and doing as an effective and hyperactive chairman of our party, he wouldn’t have made life extremely difficult for the chief executive of the state who has been running from pillar to post and the state PDP chairman, Mr Sunday Bisi, who has been out of circulation for close to two months running.

Our prayer is that the faceless Osun PDP sub-group will still be in existence to witness the celebration of the appointment of the Ile-Ife-born Prince Tajudeen Lawal when it is announced soonest along with others by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu whose administration has been solving all the strata of the nation’s socio-political and economic challenges’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
