Osun APC To PDP: Our Party Not Fractured, Stay In Your Lane
Osun State APC on Thursday reacted to the statement issued by the state PDP on Wednesday alleging that the state chapter is not only fractured but also has its members promoting tension in the state ahead of the party’s gubernatorial primary election.
The state APC in a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its spokesman, Chief Kola Olabisi said the state PDP is being haunted by the ‘obvious maladministration that has become the hallmark of the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration having recorded abysmal failure in all the facets of governance’.
The statement accused the state chairman of the ruling PDP, Chief Sunday Bisi of falsely accusing APC chieftains and members of promoting crisis in the state calling this ‘a figment of the imagination of the peddlers’.
‘Who else has the characteristic of violence if not the state chapter of PDP which records of violent incidents are numerous of which the latest was the arrest of a political thug of the state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers(NURTW) extraction in Osogbo with two guns and several bullets a few days ago?
Has the conscienceless Osun State PDP chairman forgotten how all the elected political functionaries in his party stepped on the blood of no fewer than 30 innocent souls of the members and supporters of the APC out of which about 17 of them were killed in Ijesaland by the PDP thugs where Sunday Bisi hails from all in the desperation to rig the elections for the ruling party?
We are yet to forget how one of our reinstated local government council chairmen, Honourable Remi Abass, was wickedly killed by the PDP hoodlums in Irewole Local Government Council Area of the state who are now facing trial in a competent court in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
It is evident that the handlers of the ruling party in Osun State are pained by their loss of the governance at the local government level to the APC through the 10th February, 2025 judgment of the Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, Ondo State’ the statement added.
Osun state APC also said schism has become a permanent feature of the PDP right from the national level to the ward level while urging the people of the state to disregard ‘the hoax rolled out by Mr Sunday Bisi’ and adding that this is far from ‘the perpetual peace, tranquility and the rule of law which are the hallmarks of the APC at all levels’-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
