Osun state Governor-elect, former senator Ademola Adeleke has chided Governor Gboyega Oyetola for refusing to accept the outcome of the gubernatorial election held in state on July 16 this year while asking him to stop hallucinating about non-existent ‘mandate’.
It will be recalled that Governor Oyetola had during the 2022 Iragbiji Day on Saturday declared that he will remain resolute with respect to reclaiming what he called his ‘mandate’.
The Governor-elect in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Sunday by his Spokesman, Mallam Olawale Rasheed said Oyetola had no mandate to reclaim anywhere asserting that he was soundly beating on July 16 this year.
Claiming that Governor Oyetola had ‘gradually become a threat to the well- being of Osun state people’ , Adeleke opined that the consistent election- denying outburst of the Governor had gotten him considered as ‘a self -serving politician with a fascist mind-set harbouring politically wicked agenda against the good people of Osun state’.
The Governor – elect, who called people’s attention to what he described as ‘ rabid pillaging of assets belonging to Osun state after the July 16 election’ , noted that the many lies of Oyetola in respect of the governorship election petition tribunal have been exposed and that his petition had gotten punctured as baseless and unfounded, deriding ‘the antics of a false democrat whose role model are little tyrants and Trumpists of this world’.
‘From media trial to outright sponsorship of falsehood against proceedings of the Tribunal, Mr Oyetola and the All Progressive Congress (APC) have practically abandoned diligent prosecution of their petition while chasing shadows with unrelated and unpleasant applications and submissions’ the statement said.
The Governor-elect particularly chided Oyetola for ‘exhibiting the highest level of leadership hypocrisy in recent Nigerian history as he supervises last minute ruining of the state while parroting his false hope of reclaiming a non-existing mandate’.
‘You know you are going. You are emptying the treasury and laying bobby traps for Osun state people. Yet, you mount rooftop every now and then to deceive your gullible associates and accomplices in political banditry.
