Osun state PDP has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his appointment as Chairman of the party’s South West Coordinating committee for the 2023 presidential election, submitting that ‘Osun is now the centre of gravity for the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council in the South West’.
The state PDP has not only promised to justify the confidence reposed in it but also welcomed the appointment of Engineer Jide Adeniji as Director of Special Duties, South.
The State Caretaker Chairman, Dr Akindele Adekunle in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com called Governor Adeleke ‘voters’ mobilization ambassador’ whose new responsibility will boost and strengthen the popularity of the party in the South West.
‘The appointment of Governor Adeleke and Engr Adeniji and the previous high profile appointments to the campaign council is a testimony that Osun State is the beacon of hope, the centre of gravity and the rallying point for Yoruba support for Atiku/Okowa presidency.
This recognition will redouble our ongoing efforts to secure over 70 percent of votes in the state in the upcoming presidential election.
Our party is set to repeat the victory of July 16th in the February presidential election even on a bigger scale. We will take the torch far and near across the South West under our amiable governor’s leadership’ the statement concluded.
