Osun PDP Leaders Gather At Federal Constituencies To Choose ‘Commissioners’
PDP bigwigs in the nine federal constituencies in Osun state on Saturday gathered at the headquarters of their respective constituencies to choose those who would represent them in the State Executive Council.
This was done ahead of the formation of cabinet by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Though Adeleke was sworn in as sixth executive governor of Osun state by the state Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Adepele Ojo on Sunday, November 27, 2022, he had apparently held matters that have to do with formation of cabinet in abeyance because the house of assembly was until about four weeks ago controlled by the APC.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the meeting which had five representatives representing each local government would have each federal constituency nominating one person for commissionership.
It was also gathered that this was done to make decisions on the issue participatory and give party leaders a sense of belonging.
The governor, who is expected to make cabinet nominations soon, will receive the list of the nominees at the federal constituency level from the party leaders- Team@orientactualmags.com
