Osun PDP Reps Candidate, Sanya Omirin, Launches New Empowerment Scheme In Ilesha … 3,600 People Receive Cash Gifts, Food Parcels

Ijesha South PDP House of Representatives candidate, Hon Sanya Omirin, on Tuesday launched a new programme designed to create a platform for assisting elderly people through the distribution of food parcels and presentation of cash gifts.

Hon Sanya Omirin’s media aide, Mr Familusi Oladele Isiah noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the programme held  at Obokungbusi Town Hall, Ilesa, Osun State   had in attendance dignitaries including Senator  Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, PDP chairmen in the four local governments in Ijesha South federal constituency, the three  PDP house of assembly candidates  in the federal constituency,  and party stalwarts.

 3,600 people received bags of rice (5kg)  ,  gaari  and cash gifts at the event.

Giving his remarks, Senator Fadahunsi appreciated Hon Sanya Omirin for his kind

gestures noting that  the reps candidate had long gotten recognized as a core Ijesa man known for  his kindness and benevolence.

 He urged the beneficiaries of the new programme to do all in their capacity to support, and canvass vote for Hon Sanya Omirin and other  PDP candidates in the forthcoming general election.

Also speaking, Hon Sanya Omirin , who appreciated dignitaries and others for attending the event, promised to maintain the tempo with regard to his gestures of goodwill noting that he attaches importance to putting a smile on people’s faces, and caring about their welfare and well-being.

 He has also promised  to not only  sustain the  ‘OUNJE ARUGBO’ programme but also   provide dividends of democracy including massive employment opportunities for unemployed young people in the federal constituency and  quality representation if elected as member of the House of Representatives next month .

‘Hon Sanya Omirin, an astute politician, a true and caring son of Ijesaland was at different times, Chairman , Atakunmosa East  local government and  Commissioner ,   Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) . He is currently the Ijesha South PDP reps candidate’ the statement noted.

The statement also quoted Hon Wale Akerele (Water), Hon Olatunbosun Diran (Droy), and Hon Sanmi Areoye to have in their separate speeches, commended Hon Sanya Omirin for being altruistic while describing him as a good leader worthy of emulation.

Asserting that PDP is the only party that can protect the interest of the masses, they also urged the beneficiaries to woo electors in the federal constituency on behalf of the reps hopeful in order to improve their lives.
