Osun Rural Development Commissioner Hits The Ground Running On First Day In Office
Osun state Commissioner For Rural Development and Community Affairs, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere, had a busy first day in office on Tuesday, July 25 , 2023.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his media aide, Comrade Adigun Olaide. noted that he has hit the ground running and also visited agencies and departments that have Ministry of Rural Development and Community Affairs as their parent ministry.
‘Asejere a grassroots politician and a political administrator, was given a warm welcome by ministry officials led by the Permanent Secretary , Mr. Oyegbami R.A’ the statement said.
He quoted Asejere as saying ‘ this Ministry is very important to the governor and that is why he sent someone like me, a grassroots man to represent and complement his efforts with regard to rural and community development which covers rural infrastructure, rural education, rural electrification and social development of rural areas’.
The commissioner, the statement added , has also after an inspection tour of all the offices, instructed the Permanent Secretary to, with immediate effect come up with a proposal that would look into the needs of the Ministry to enhance worker efficiency and dedication .
Asejere, who solicited for maximum cooperation from the staff of the ministry, also called for full cooperation and synergy that would bring about unprecedented achievements.
He visited the Osun Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) headed by Mrs. Funmi Aderonke Abokede, who gladly received him and chronicled developmental projects that have been successfully executed across the nooks and crannies of the state by the Governor Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke administration .
The governor, she noted, has in his few months in office changed the face of the state.
