Osun Speaker Appointed As Caretaker Committee Member As State Legislature Speakers Attend Induction Ceremony In Abuja

Speaker of the Osun state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, who is currently attending the technical session/induction ceremony for speakers of state houses of assembly in Abuja, has been named as member of the caretaker committee that will be in charge of the affairs of the Conference of Speakers.

The Speaker’s media aide, Mr. Olamide Tiamiyu noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that  the programme that is being held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, was organized by the Strategic Partner (PERL- ECP) in partnership with the Conference of Speakers of Nigeria.

Immediate past Speaker of  Delta state House of Assembly, who is currently the Governor of Delta state, Sheriff Oborevwor gave an opening speech at the event.

Speaker Egbedun and five others were inaugurated as members of the 6-man Caretaker Committee for the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria during the programme on Thursday.
