As part of the efforts to ensure that the APC presidential candidate , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu earns victory in the next year’s presidential election, Osun state chapter of the South-West Agenda(SWAGA ’23) has come up with a seven-man Working Committee that will get things done in the state.
Distributing the appointment letters to the Osun SWAGA Working Committee members at the state secretariat of the group in Ogooluwa , Osogbo on Monday, the state chairperson, Hon Ayo Omidiran, noted that the members were carefully selected based on their track records of exemplary performance and unalloyed loyalty to the progressive ideals in the state.
Mr Kola Olabisi, who is the spokesman for the group , noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Tuesday that Omidiran added that the main task of SWAGA which is the topmost group that had advanced the cause of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential project is to ensure his victory in the 2023 presidential election.
Mrs. Omidiran , a former member of the House of Representatives ,who represented Isokan/ Irewole/ Aiyedaade Federal Constituency, enjoined the Osun SWAGA Working Committee members to brace up for the task ahead and hit the ground running noting that time wasn’t on their side.
She submitted that everything legally possible should be deployed to the Asiwaju Tinubu’s election project in order for the APC presidential candidate to come out victorious with a wide margin in the upcoming presidential election.
At the inaugural meeting of the committee, the state chairman disclosed that the inauguration of the group’s state secretariat would hold on Thursday November 3rd, 2022, adding that the ceremony would be presided over by Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Omidiran said she was not in doubt that members of the Osun SWAGA ’23 Working Committee would perform excellently having continued to show commitment to progressive activities in the state.
‘I congratulate you all on your appointment and I am convinced that you are all round pegs in round holes.
Let’s work assiduously and conscientiously towards the electoral victory of the presidential candidate of our party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is a tested and suitable hand to lead this nation into prosperity in all fronts.
I am appealing to you all to put in your best to the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu election project before us as the nation would benefit immensely from his leadership of the country’ the Osun SWAGA chairman said.
Mrs Omidiran added that the Osun SWAGA secretariat would become a beehive of activities in respect of the Tinubu presidential election project as quite a number of programmes that would enhance the election victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be holding at the new secretariat of the pro-Tinubu group.
